Hi, and welcome to my blog.
It’s inspired by a bunch of people who have shaped, guided, or helped me in life.
Mostly, this blog is about the “possibility” that life offers us each moment. It’s about choosing how we look at those moments and how we create opportunities for growth and progress within them.
Our real experience about life is likely much different. Lives seem to grow increasingly complex and busy. This complexity often keeps us firmly planted–if not stuck–right where we are. “Products of our past” we might say. But are we?
Enter possibility–a way of seeing through complexity by finding small examples of good as it works in our lives and in the lives of others. It’s a choice to enter the world with a “you know, this small example of possibility, if encouraged, could create change” attitude.
I’m not suggesting that we ignore complexity and world events. Rather, I suggest that we use possibility to challenge complexity’s handcuffs on our lives.
Complexity would also have us focus on our differences rather than what we have in common. This plays out in many ways, not the least of which is the turmoil we face in the world. But the world’s lack of peace can be reversed through our individual peace efforts as we “wage peace” one life at a time. This is possibility at work.
The blog is a series of small stories and reflections. They are not meant to be profound. They just offer opportunities to look at the possibility that small moments present.
